Collection: Handmade Macrame Earrings

Gorgeous, boho style handmade macrame earrings are now available to buy on our website. All our macrame leaf earrings are designed and created by Jackie on our beautiful narrowboat, Bluebell, as we make our way along Britain’s waterways.

In 2017, we took the keys to our narrowboat Bluebell, a 60ft R W Davis traditional stern narrowboat. Over the first few years we enjoyed spending time on our boat but always needed to keep our trips relatively short as our work kept us tied to Oxford. This all changed in 2020 following the first lockdown and a family bereavement, we realised that life was too short and that what we really wanted was to live on our boat and explore Britain.

After months of hard work learning the art of jewellery making our new business “by Boat & Bike” was born. And, while Rich is the expert when it comes to copper jewellery, Jackie loves getting stuck in and making beautiful macrame leaf earrings, sometimes with the help of our two children Bobby and Fleur.

Our macrame earrings are handmade and are available in a range of colours including natural, green, pink, and mustard. These earrings make a great gift for friends and family and every order helps to support our journey and keep our adventure going.

All our macrame earrings are handmade and we will begin to make your earrings when we receive your order. Most orders are completed within a week and once ready we’ll send them out to you in plastic free, recycled packaging and each order includes a handwritten thank you note.
